Hi all, There are current usages of this, in Spice netlist, as shown in
http://www.geda.seul.org/wiki/geda:sdb_howto model=IS=0.5UA RS=6 BV=5.20 I think this feature is very important for other netlisters too. If implemented in the future, Verilog and VHDL netlisters can also use this features to pass lines of parameters(Verilog) and Generic, Generic_map (VHDL). I'm okay with making this restriction, unless somebody comes up with a good counter argument. > >Are there any use cases where this would be a problem? > The only place where it was ever used was in attaching logic bubbles to pins. You might want to check the symbol library to see how widespread this really is. -Ales _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev ________________________________________________________________________ Check Out the new free AIM(R) Mail -- Unlimited storage and industry-leading spam and email virus protection. _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
