Frustrated by a lack of menu entries suitable for gEDA and other EDA tools, I produced the following small debian package.
For other systems, or to see how it works, look at the files installed by "rules" in the debian directory, such as: Electronics.directory -> /usr/share/desktop-directories/Electronics.directory electronics.svg -> /usr/share/pixmaps/electronics.svg (NB:... worlds most simple demo for an "Electronics" icon). electronics.menu -> /etc/xdg/menus/applications-merged/electronics.menu Best wishes, -- Peter Clifton Electrical Engineering Division, Engineering Department, University of Cambridge, 9, JJ Thomson Avenue, Cambridge CB3 0FA Tel: +44 (0)7729 980173 - (No signal in the lab!) _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
