Peter B and I have interest in generic back-end EDA data-structures
beyond those in libgeda, but I don't think there is really such a thing
as a "neutral" file-format.

There is no need at all to throw away libgeda (gschem)'s schematic
format, but it would be sensible (if we alter it in a distruptive way),
to take the opportunity to add features which make future additions
possible without major breakage.
