Peter B and I have interest in generic back-end EDA data-structures beyond those in libgeda, but I don't think there is really such a thing as a "neutral" file-format. There is no need at all to throw away libgeda (gschem)'s schematic format, but it would be sensible (if we alter it in a distruptive way), to take the opportunity to add features which make future additions possible without major breakage. -- Peter Clifton Electrical Engineering Division, Engineering Department, University of Cambridge, 9, JJ Thomson Avenue, Cambridge CB3 0FA Tel: +44 (0)7729 980173 - (No signal in the lab!) _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
