Refdes labels always follow the element.
If you have plain text you want to move, you're best bet is to flip
the board (tab) over first, then create the text on that side.
Otherwise it's going to read backwards.
Still, to move text to the other side, flip the board and use the
"move to current layer" option ('m').
If you must fix a mirror-image text, edit the .pcb file and toggle the
"onsolder" flag.
