Hi Al,
just a quick question regarding gnucap.
Would you think it would be suitable as a fault simulator?
In the case, would you implement a set of scripts (python, for
example) and run it as low-level simulator or rather a classic
module-style implementation?
Does anyone think it would be an useful function?
A possible implementation would be making a set of python scripts that
produce a netlist, feed gnucap, take the resulting output file, and
produces a suitable netlist again, depending on the situation.
Although the script possibility is not the cleanest implementation of
all, it'd would indirectly benefit directly from gnucap getting
better and better, and without requiring any major change in gnucap
implementaton.
I used this approach with a certain degree of success during my
thesis, and now I'm wondering if it would be suitable for a stable and
usable tool.
Bye
