I've pushed some of the branch. There are a few patches I'm not sure
about at the end, and a delta patch between the OBJECT allocation patch
(which I edited before committing) and your original code. This is all
available on my repo.or.cz fork under the branch called "bernd_patches".

There are a couple of white-space alterations which aren't in the delta
patch, I hope this doesn't cause to much pain if you wanted to rebase
against it.

I hope this has made a start in diminishing the differences between the
code-bases. Thanks for the patches!

PS.. for those (anyone?) testing gschem with my cairo patches, that has
been rebased against the new gpleda.org master branch, and is available
on repo.or.cz.
