Pushed the cairo_experiment stuff to repo.or.cz again. It's not re-based against the latest master yet though.
Pango seems to work ok, seems to be back-compat. Take a look at gschem/tests/multiline*.sch >From the feel of it, it might need going over with a magnifying glass to make sure it is properly pixel aligned / hinted. I think it is a little blurrier than it ought to be. Notice how slow it is too if there is lots of text.. some of the pango font selection stuff could probably be setup then left for the duration. It is also slow if you zoom really far in (big glyph filling a large part of the screen). IIRC, that is a XBigRequest / cairo limitation / bug. -- Peter Clifton Electrical Engineering Division, Engineering Department, University of Cambridge, 9, JJ Thomson Avenue, Cambridge CB3 0FA Tel: +44 (0)7729 980173 - (No signal in the lab!) _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
