Hi --

I've been playing around with the reporting facilities which have been
put into gerbv, and I have noticed that PCB seems to define more
apertures (using %AD) than it uses in drawing features.

I have noticed that if I use a certain aperture on layer X, then the
definition for that aperture appears in all layers whether it's used
in that layer or now. That does explain why many more apertures are
defined in each layer than are used in that layer.

However, even if I analyze the aperture usage on all layers, I find
that some apertures are defined but never used. Is that possibly an
artifact of having changed a track width while using PCB?

Just wondering,

Stuart
