I'm just today back from holidays and have a large email backlog.
But it has never worked (AFAIR) since I saw the µ prefixes on the
screen (Thanks to Carlos). I've never complained mostly because
of lack of time.

It's been a long time since I id any low level PoscrScript work, but you
probably need to tweak the PostScript prologue so that it works with UTF-8
encodings. It is not the case of either the printers or the program that
transforms the PostScript and sends it to the old Deskjet I have here, the
only one that has color or A3 paper feed (all the others are BW and A4
only, the result is too ugly for words).
