Hi,
I am about to write a PCB plugin (for automated rat selection based on some
constrains) and I need to know that which rats are connected for a given pin or
pad.
RatType's Point1, Point2 tells the coordinates and group1, group2 tells the
layer of the end points, I guess.
PinType has got X, Y if a Rat's Point1 or Point2 matches with that it means
that the Rat is connected into the Pin (I guess).
But I am confused with the Pads. Because a SMD component could be placed both
side of the board. But in the PadType structure I don't find fields similar to
RatType's group1 - group2 which would tell that which layer the Pad is on.
E.g there could be 2 pads with the same Point1 coordinates (one pad is on the
opposite board side of the other). And I could find rat endpoint for that
coordinate, but according to these I can't determine that which pad is
connected by the rat.
So how to determine that which layer/board side the pad is on?
