I uninstalled 1.4.0 with synaptic package manager. I changed the prefix in makefile to /home/kip/geda All of the files are untarred in /home/backup/Work/gEDA
It still does not install correctly. What am I doing wrong? I am following the instructions as they are documented. http://www.geda.seul.org/developer.html Is there an error in the makefile? It wants to put stuff in /usr/local/share/gEDA. I do not have to run this as a super user do I?
