Here are a few items blocking a 1.5.1 release:

* The selection of filled objects needs to be modified/fixed (patch already
  submitted, needs review, and commit)

* I need to decide how to modify the new selection mechanism to be a little
bit less drastic. I did double the distance threshold and that seemed
  to help quite a bit.

* It would be really nice to finally get rid of the dependancy of
intltool. I'm okay with checking in translated desktop files.

* The polygon file format changes should be finalized.

* The file format version needs to be bumped and, more importantly,
the wiki describing the file format needs to be updated.

* It might be a good idea to implement the other (less drastic) format
changes now while bumping the above version number. I have a list in
  my inbox.

* I really want to unify the gaf programs into one tarball with one
configure script, but this is a chunk of really non-trival work that
  I don't really want holding up a 1.5.1 release.

The above information should probably be added to wiki:

http://geda.seul.org/wiki/geda:todos

in the "next release" section.

Thanks,
-Ales
