Wonderful! Thank you! I'll put you on the "list".

Anybody else!?!? Sign up now or I'll start to send personalized nag
e-mails to the relevant suspects! And you know who you are!! ;-)

By the way, it occurred to me last night that I don't mean to hog the
job of admin to myself if there are others willing to do the task. If
somebody else wants to be GSoC admin this year, please speak up and
I'll be happy to hand you the reins! But if nobody else steps up,
then I'll gladly continue to do the job.

Interesting point. I think the action item here is to ping Ales and
see what our financial standing is w.r.t. paying for the hosting
service. IIRC, he pays it out of pocket, and it's not that
expensive. However, if he thinks he'd like some help, we can see
about using some of the GSoC money for that.

My issue is simply that if I handle the money, and set aside some of
it to deal with hosting (or anything else), then I have to be
dilligent about collecting receipts. Otherwise, I end up paying taxes
on the money.

True enough. And it's very true that we've talked about this at great
length over time, but have not taken any action. The reason is the
usual barrier -- time -- as well as the fact that the effort required is
not worth it if we're only going to handle a few hundred dollars. The
sums mooted for the PCB project and run through Linux Fund are
more in the ballpark where a gEDA non-profit makes sense to me.
However, in that case there is already a non-profit in place to handle
the donations: Linux Fund.

Cheers,

Stuart
