A new version of gEDA graphical setup for Linux (alpha 0.2) can be
downloaded from: http://www.eter.ariadna.pl/~sp9rve/geda.

It is based on newest versions of tools. It contains all gEDA tools:
gaf, icarus verilog, gtkwave, ng-spice, gwave, gmos, gnucap, gerbv,
mucs-pcb. It contains also all necessary libraries: guile, guile-gtk,
libgdgeda, libgeda, libpng, libstroke, zlib.

It does not contain: PCB (hard to do), VBS (is not Icarus sufficient
?). It does not contain VHDL tools. My preferred candidate is Asimut
simulator from Alliance package. PCB and Asimut are planned for the next
release.

Setup has now a configuration file setup.cfg, easy to read even without
documentation. It is beeing prepared to allow creating RPM/DEB specs from it.

Setup is prepared for installation of precompiled binaries (although
still without RPM/DEB integration). However only few tools are configured
in this way. There are too many files to be configured manually, I need
to prepare some kind of tool to do it easier.

I named my distribution 'gEDA Suite'. If you have something against it,
I change it immediately. It would be nice to move distribution of the
setup to gEDA site. Or, if not, to reference my page on gEDA homepage. Is
it possible ?

Installer is still NOT good tested, please report any problems to me. I
am open also to any sugestions to make installer better for you.
