Don't suppose it would be possible to display NaN values with the x(unknown) color? I display my X values in red, and it makes sense to me to display NaN of real variables in the x (red in my case) color as well.
Sure would be totally kool if you could draw a gray crosshatch in the background where the dead zone is displayed.
