Hi Stuart,

I'm using linux at home. You have right, gunzip can handle Ms-DOS zip files (winzip too). It is a problem when downloading a zipped file for linux with windows. If it is a .gz file, all is going fine, but when the file is a .bz2, windoze is f... with the extension and you get a .tar att the place of .bz2. But the file is still OK and gunzip is doing the job.

Her is a .gz file, so hopefully, every one will get not only the right file, but the file with the right name: gnet-spice-sdb.scm.gz

I appreciate very much gEDA, gschem is at least as good at the old Orcad dos version, the other program are very good too, and supporting and helping when i can is almost a duty for me. By the way, i wich language is coded the gnet-spice-sdb? I can basic and assembler, and some base in c (like hello word program), but the language used with this ngspice stuff seam to be relativly easy.

Ciao,
Dominique

Hi Dominique --

If you're using Windoze, you can also use good old zip to zip up the
file. I believe that gunzip can handle MS-DOG zip files.
