Hello all,

In the last months I've been working on an program to leave us
designers, away from the boring task of fine tuning a circuit. I
imagine that you are most likely aware of commercial offer of such
tools. However this one is free, released under the GPL license. So
far only I have used this which is the reason why I'm writing you if
you are interested in trying the tool and provide feedback. Again, you
do not have obligation to do it.

At this moment out-of-the-box support for Eldo, HSPICE and LTSPICE
exist. An example for a general program is also included. If the
package that you can download, there is also a 50 page manual.
Examples for the supported SPICE simulators so that you can start
optimizing a circuit in 2 minutes are added as well. One important
thing, If you do not have Eldo or SPICE, you can still try with
LTSpice which can be downloaded for free from the Linear Technology
homepage. It runs quite well in *NIX under Wine.

Should you have doubts and the manual does not provide enough
information; you find bugs or your have suggestion, I would like to
hear from you. The program homepage is http://asco.sourceforge.net/
where you can download it.

Regards,
João Ramos
