        Okay, then this is a longer standing bug which I will look into.

        Yeah, this coupled with the idea to cryptographically sign the
instanciated components as they are placed into a schematic will solve 
a few other long standing issues.

        I haven't grabbed these yet, but I will soon.  After I get this
release out (really), we can coordinate in getting these changes integrated
into CVS.  Many thanks for all this greatly overdue work!
