Getting the computers and other stuff to MIT (assuming we can hold it there [1]) will be easy enough. I also intend to bring a hub to solve the one-port problem. I did have one logistics thought: IRC. I haven't done IRC before (yes, I live in a cave), but I am apprehensive that since we'll have several people communicating on IRC, we'll end up spending most of our time typing to our far-off friends, and won't be able to hack. I wonder if we should recruit a non-developer helper to hang out on IRC while we're there and verbally relay questions and advice? That person might also play the role of go-fer. If you think it's a good idea I'll post a message to geda-user. Stuart [1] I have a call in to the computer user group coordinator, but haven't spoken to him in person yet. We won't be confirmed until I can touch base with him. I will continue trying to reach him.
