I'm all for it with regards gEDA/gaf. For PCB, it will be a NAK until gtkglext is ported (to keep the OpenGL support). Interestingly though, someone popped up on the gtk-devel mailing list with a patch set for review, claiming to have ported gtkglext to GTK 3.0 - so time will tell whether that now happens or not. I initially looked at porting it myself, but many of the underlying concepts in GDK (like colour maps and visuals) had been removed :(. -- Peter Clifton <[email protected]>
