Does your gnetlist look like:
SIGNAL1 Q1-E R2-2 R3-1
If so, you probably have a gschem symbol with a pin that has attributes
pinnumber=E and pinlabel=E attached.
If you attach pinnumber=1 and pinlabel=E and use a footprint with pad 1 correct
for emitter, you should get a good netlist like:
SIGNAL1 Q1-1 R2-2 R3-1
