Finally, these are the last gschem related notes from my list. 26) Suggestion: The various attribute dialogs should apply to the edied attribute of all selected objects. That is, copy the attribute values touched by the user to all selected symbols that contain this particular attribute. However, attributes that did not receive an editing touch should be left alone. This would be a powerfull feature for mass changes. At the moment, the edit text dialog copies all values to all selected symbols. By contrast, changes in the "edit attributes" apply to the first smbol in the selection only.
27) Feature request: Allow for globbing and/or regexp in find dialogs. 28) Suggestion: Currently, the auto number script always starts at "1". This is almost always inappropiate with the popular 100-200-300 numbering scheme. Auto number would improve a lot, if it had a way to know the desired start number of the current page. Just a thought: Add the hidden attribute "start number" to title page. Auto-number could take this number as default start value. 29) Feature request: An option that toggles auto-number. 30) Unfinished feature: The action "add-component-object-hook" does not quite work for me. It places the value attribute on top of the footprint attribute. 31) Suggestion: The add component dialog should ignore symbols with a trailing "~". These are backup files. 32) Bug: The apply button of the components dialog ceased to work with the current iso image.
