Could you elaborate? Or are you just saying that gEDA doesn't have the symbols and footprints you need? > and support for multipage projects. All my big projects are multi-page projects with gEDA. What, exactly, is stopping you from doing the same? > the automatic production of cabling diagrams and loop diagrams, Elaborate, please. Are you talking about designing the wires that attach to the board, in addition to the board itself? > and support physical layouts of the components referenced in the > topological diagram. I have no idea what you're talking about here, unless you're talking about physically modelling the enclosures that a multi-board system are in. I think that's way beyond what gEDA is intended for. > I'm sure other electrical engineering professionals would be > interested in making significant financial contributions. It's a > pity that the gEDA team is not tapping this resource, to be able to > make the project mature faster. We've talked about this before. The way to do it is for the companies to find individuals who are willing to work on geda on a contract basis, and pay them directly. The gEDA project itself is not set up to contract out specific tasks. _______________________________________________ geda-user mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
