Based on my limited experience, I've found that the control (base, gate), power (emitter, source) and output (collector, drain) are always on the same pins on sot-shaped devices, regardless of fet/bjt or p/n. The spec sheets always seem to number those pins the same too, but that doesn't mean that gschem/pcb does.
