Since today gEDA/gaf stable version 1.4.0-20080127
is available in Gentoo-Linux as an official ebuild. Seems to work fine. It is still marked "testing", so you will have to include lines like [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ cat /etc/portage/package.keywords sci-electronics/geda ~amd64 sci-libs/libgeda ~amd64 sci-electronics/pcb ~amd64 in file /etc/portage/package.keywords. Additional, because of geda name changes for stable 1.2 and 1.4 release, you will have to mask the 200* names in file /etc/portage/package.mask to make release 1.4 visible for emerge.
