Hello, I am watching this list since more than two years now, but I can not remember having seen some discussion about licenses for schematics and pcb board layouts.
My symbols and footprints at gedasymbols.org are licensed GPL for distribution, and unlimited for use -- most gEDA user use this statement, i think it is fine. Can I use GPL license for schematics and pcb board layout too? Or are there other similar licenses, which are better suited for this stuff? Which licenses do you use for your boards?
