Yes. My suggestion would be: If at least one whole symbol is selected, selection of text-attributes of unselected symbols should be ignored. So we can select groups of symbols, or group of text attributes. Cases when a user really wants to select one or more whole symbols, and additional text-attributes of unselected symbols should be very rare.
