Not everything in PCB can be included in an element. Specifically, you may only include: vias, traces, rectangles, and silk lines/arcs. Copper arcs and polygons may not be included. For your case what you'll need to do is what I described earlier - draw the ring with copper arcs *after* you place the element (just pads) on the board. The ring will not be part of the element, but it will work.
