"normal" and "high quality" are pretty slow over here. A little pcb with only a few SO8 footprints takes four seconds to render a new zoom level. Panning is ok, though. My hardware is medium level with improved graphics card AMD sempron 3000+, 3600 BogoMIPS, 1GB RAM Nvidia 7600GS/512 MB I tend to work with "fast, with XOR".
