Hi,
Ok, I am doing my first layout with more than one ground. So there are two GND nets, GND, and AGND. I want to connect them together at one point, and therefore I'd need a starpoint. In my day job, we have footprints for starpoints. I've tried to create one by placing two pads on the top of each other, but DRC said that the two nets are shorted. There is nothing wrong with it, but there is a probability, that there are other shorts, which can't be detected. For a workaround, I placed a 0603 footprint, and will solder 0Ohm resistor, but I want to avoid this. Other solution would be to place a wire at the place of the starpoint as the very last step of the layout, but when you want to edit the layout later, it is hard to deal with this kind of issues. How do you solve this issue? BTW. It would be nice to have a clean concept of starpoints in gEDA/PCB.
