I'll just keep telling myself that glxgears isn't really a proper benchmark anyway.., and console myself with a big hires screen.. (stupid stuck pixel). I am running a composited desktop with compiz, using OpenGL at the same time (DRI2 lets you do that!). FPS isn't much higher without though. Here's the weird thing.. I see higher fps running indirect GLX than with direct rendering. Possibly due to new drivers + DRI2 etc.. still having issues being worked out. (I'm sure I was getting 700-800 the other day). -- Peter Clifton Electrical Engineering Division, Engineering Department, University of Cambridge, 9, JJ Thomson Avenue, Cambridge CB3 0FA Tel: +44 (0)7729 980173 - (No signal in the lab!) _______________________________________________ geda-user mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
