I am currently testing the latest gEDA 1.4.3 ebuilds for Gentoo... For libgeda I get in general case
[...] checking dependency style of x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc... none checking for a sed that does not truncate output... /bin/sed checking for grep that handles long lines and -e... /bin/grep [...] But in two of about 14 tests with identical setup I get this message: checking for a sed that does not truncate output... ./configure : line 3771: echo: write error: Broken pipe /bin/sed This seems to be a not too serious error -- the build process continues. This is for AMD64 X2 gcc version 4.1.2 Does someone has an idea what the reason for this error may be?
