Please note this is not always true. Power pins can be very important for functionality. I.E many different supply voltages or filtering of supply for analog parts or routing of supply. We need better support for multi-component symbols, but we need better support for visible/hidden power pins (of slotted symbols) too. Maybe a switch which can hide the pins.
