Hi, I guess the subject says it already. I have a tiny PCB-board (SMT) and some of the element names are to large. I like to remove only a few of them (the once which does not need a mark e.g. because they are unique on the board.
I didn't figure out how to do this in pcb. I tried to emacs into the file and remove the name string.However, the name is also associated with the netlist. If I remove CONN1, the netlist will be broken. Further I tried a quick and dirty method by change the layer from silk to component and hide the names somewhere in the gnd-plane.
