With a small number of parts, embedded components (John L. style) may be the way to go. I break my ARM designs up into several sheets (and therefore my ARM processor representation into several symbols), but some prefer a single big sheet. With multiple sheets, you'll probably want a Makefile, with just one you may prefer not to bother.
