By email also has its advantages: 1. Email means the patches get seen and reviewed 2. Git sends the email for you - so no extra work for the sender 3. I can save the patches without having to poke sourceforge 4. I can save the patches without having to poke sourceforge (If I agree to push some patches - send them privately to me).
