Dear John, > If the component represents a subcircuit, SPICE requires that its refdes > start with "X", not "U". Thank you, I wasn't sure because in one of the official tutorial the refdes of the AOP are U1 and U2. My new refdes is XAO1. However, I now have the following error: -- $ ngspice 83 -> source ./spice.net Circuit: * gnetlist -g spice-sdb -o spice.net lowpass.sch Error on line 0 : e.xoa1.eos xoa1.7 0 POLY( 1 ) xoa1.16 xoa1.49 5e-3 1 unknown parameter (xoa1.16) Error on line 0 : f.xoa1.f1 xoa1.9 xoa1.98 POLY( 1 ) v.xoa1.va3 0 0 0 1.0985e7 unknown parameter (v.xoa1.va3) -- I have a similar error when I switch to the UA741 (rather than LF353). I've found a geda tutorial that uses an AOP, but I couldn't run ngspice on it either (http://www-mdp.eng.cam.ac.uk/web/CD/engapps/geda/starting_gEDA_long.pdf). I'd be very grateful if someone could tell me what's the meaning of the error or send me a working example with an AOP. The new .sch is here: http://bit.ly/cGLf0t Thank you, Fabio > > John Doty Noqsi Aerospace, Ltd. > http://www.noqsi.com/ > [email protected] > > > > > _______________________________________________ > geda-user mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user _______________________________________________ geda-user mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
