Hello, all. I'm a Debian user and a long time I was using outdated gEDA/gaf versions and even in 2008 was fighting against vector fonts. When I realized that there already are postscript fonts, I started fighting against them :). An issue with them is that in postscript output some cyrillic and maybe others symbols are missing. I was hoping anyone would solve this problem. Then I was hoping anyone would write about its existence. I'm tired to hope.
It seems to be changes in gEDA/gaf 1.8 for Unicode support. I don't know exactly. Intentions maybe. I don't know where to look at. Whose repository is better. How to figure it out. Main git repository has no changes for Unicode support. I haven't found anything. I wrote three patches. Probably they're provided too late. Indeed... They're pretty simple: sorting out and deleting of unnecessary lines. It solves my problems with printing today. Maybe it will be useful for someone... Launchpad bug #720218. Developers, look at it, please. -- VZh _______________________________________________ geda-user mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
