gEDA-user: libgeda24 vs. 20 dependency

In installing geda-gschem-20050820 from .deb... I run into a dependency error
where I've successfully built and installed libgeda24 but don't have an
anywhere recent libgeda20 ... so install fails.

Any help would be  a huge help.
