The act of locking a component is supposed to unselect it; if it didn't
happen then you'll never be able to unselect it while it's locked. If
your problem was that the locked component remained select then there is
a bug where it didn't get unselected when getting locked. If something
else couldn't get unselected that's a different bug. I'll look into it.
