My estimation is that a reasonably skilled C programmer with basic digital design skills (in order to understand what is being done) should have no special difficulties with the ipal code that is there. It probably doesn't need much work to be brought current with the 0.8 branch of Iverilog. Once that is done, some sum-of- product synthesis needs to be completed. This task does *not* require knowledge of the internals of the Icarus Verilog compiler. All that is needed is a working knowledge of the ivl_target API, and that can come from the existing source and some examples. - -- Steve Williams "The woods are lovely, dark and deep. steve at icarus.com But I have promises to keep, http://www.icarus.com and lines to code before I sleep, http://www.picturel.com And lines to code before I sleep." -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFD/fcmrPt1Sc2b3ikRApQyAJ0bPiFQnZU5ZLwOSJLEsBv63Gcn6wCfSvL3 KAIZbQzWu74Wkw/WRXifmlA= =VUt2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
