I'm running a site using Geeklog 1.3.2 and am having some troubles with character substitution when certain characters appear in a posted story. For example, if a story has "smart quotes", the trademark symbol or em or en dashes, the characters are substituted with a "?" in the story after submission.
Do newer versions of Geeklog correct this or does anyone have a suggestion for pre- or post- processing the submissions to substitute for characters acceptable to Geeklog?
