Actually, everything I have read on the site states that adding elements to the user details is not available yet. That seems odd, as I would think that adding elements to the user properties would be an easy task. If you know of a mod that works well, I would appreciate it. The userlist is perfect! Now all I need is to add/change the user information. TIA

There are a couple of hacks for this (search geeklog.net). Also, some plugins (e.g. the Forum plugin) include such modifications.
