Thanks all for the tips. I had the port number properly specified so I'll try up- and down-grading PHP and Apache (well, Apache at least, from 2.0.40 to 2.0.47 and/or 1.3.28; PHP from 4.2.2 to 4.3.2) at an installfest this weekend. I'll let you all know how it goes.
