The hotkeys can be configured in ~/.geeqie/accels file. A configuration dialog is planned but not yet implemented. The reason why the CTRL-<number> keys were disabled is that in the future I want to change the numbered editor slots to more generic "plugins" that can appear anywhere in the menu and it will be better to assign easier hotkeys to the more frequently used editors (some single letters are still free). Another reason is that I needed a series of hotkeys in a row for the file marks.
