This is a list of changes that I want to do in near future. - Overlay configuration - split to global configuration (the string, x, y) and layout window configuration (enabled/disabled, histogram modes)
- layout mode, zoom reset mode, scroll reset mode - these should be moved from global options to layout window, zoom reset and scrol reset should be directly in the menu: View / On new image / ( ) Zoom to original size ( ) Fit image to window (*) Leave zoom at previous setting ----------------------------------- (*) scroll to center ( ) scroll to top left ( ) no change - save and load toolbar configuration - type and order of buttons - extend configuration format to allow runtime modifications (for example reconfigure sidebar), add functions to save and load (partial) configuration to the remote control (and maybe also to the menu) - exif pane - merge code for preconfigured and added tags - allow arbitrary number of tags - add confoguration dialog (move from preferences) - allow usage of multiple exif panes with different tags - make the pane narrower, my best idea so far is an automatic switch between | name:value | and |long name: | | very long value| - maybe add editing posibility to all tags (not sure if it is needed, I can't imagine any usecase for generic metadata editor) https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2580128&group_id=222125&atid=1054680 - histogram pane - the tooltip is not ideal, maybe we could put the text to the expander title (that would need a small api change) - maybe draw the vertical lines with 1EV spacing (that needs information about gamma extracted from color profile) - add new panes - star rating - GPS pane (using http://blog.pierlux.com/projects/libchamplain/en/) I would prefer if these panes were contributed by somebody else, to verify that the API is easy enough ;) - image view - it would be easy to use layout window with hidden tools, maybe also disable image changes https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2581342&group_id=222125&atid=1054680 - rewrite keywords pane (see my previous mail) I can explain more details if anybody wants to help implementing this.
