In my context :
- slackware-12.2
- kde-3.5.10
- filenames encoded with iso-8859-15
- LANGUAGE=fr_FR.ISO-8859-15 ...
I have found two small problems with filenames containing accentued
characters as dédé.jpg for instance :
1 : if from a console I start geeqie as
geeqie dédé.jpg
the image is correct but the name in the top bar is incorrect
and I have errors :
"invalid byte sequence in conversion input"
"unable to convert filename to locale from UTF8"
2 : if in dolphin (version 0.8.2) I clic on dédé.jpg and open with geeqie
no image is displayed and I have only an icon "Geeqie"
I have no problem if I open with kview, gimp....
I have written a small interface program between dolphin and geeqie
where I get the parameter (filename) and call geeqie. In this context
the image is displayed and the environment transmitted to geeqie seems
unchanged !!!
Note : I have the same problems with gqview
