I'm working with that; I'll try to do it using clutter library. I would like , at this moment, only implement Calendar mode with that idea of hierachical zoom with clutter library. > > would be nice. I also find it tremendously useful to have a real zoom (that > is, > make thumbnails larger or smaller) in Calendar mode. Well, at this point I implemented full screen for clicked images in Pan View mode with ENTER key ( actually, it's quite easy). But I need a subversion branch to upload it ( or should I upload it in the main branch?) > There are many days when > I've taken hundreds to 1-2 thousand images in a single day. I think Image zoom and logical zoom should not be in conflict. It's quite useful what you say; if you zoom out then Geeqie should draw more thumbails to give and idea about what are you looking for ( maybe show nearby days/weeks at the same time). Finally; there's an idea that really excites me and started thinking about it when I started this project: intelligent navigation. I think it would be a good idea to keep a registry about what pics are most viewed by user; so you con show these thumbails when zooming out and in ; insted of showing 'random' thumbails for each day/week/year. What do you think about it? I said 'Finally' but I lied: I have one more purpouse. What about custom slideshow ? Think about a party celebrated last weekend. It would be a good idea to select which is the 'first' pic of slideshow and wich one the 'last' ; and then save it as a simple structure ; making able user to load it. Some advanced options should let user add and remove pics to that 'slideshow' collection. Maybe this already exists?? > > > --xsdg > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Register Now for Creativity and Technology (CaT), June 3rd, NYC.
