Speaking of exiv2, every time I use geeqie and select a new picture to
display, I get the following message printed twice:

Warning: Directory Minolta, entry 0x0088: Data area exceeds data
    buffer, ignoring it.

I don't know what it is actually complaining about. I have only one
directory named Minolta where I keep documentation for my Minolta camera
and this directory has nothing to do with where my images are stored. I
even renamed the directory and then restarted geeqie and I still get the
warnings. I think it must have something to do with the exif data in the
image files since I do not get the message when I load images taken with a
Lumix camera. I did a search on this message and it does seem to be coming
from exiv2 as others report seeing it too.

This is with Geeqie 1.0alpha3.

Does anyone have a clue as to what is causing this and can it be eliminated?
It is very annoying!
