The best is to use geeqie svn trunk, and run "intltool-update nl" in
po/ to get an up-to-date file (in sync with source).
In the mean time, i attached the file nl.po, you can work on it, and
then resend it to me, i will commit it to svn.
Thanks. When I'm ready for now I will send it in. Afterwards I will
keep up with svn.

did you make any progress on nl.po ?
We may release 1.0 soon, and it would be very nice to have this
translation in before.
